I used to think it was just the *****s when they wouldn't shut up about his money and watches. Some of these Pac fans are just as bad.

Then Floyd is the best at influencing and transcending as he's #1 PPV. FACT. And Manny surely isn't getting any of that, he might as well be their landscaper. He's just help.

Mayweather's fights attract Mark Wahlberg, Mike Tyson, Bradley Cooper, etc. Usual A-List celebs.

ALI and TYSON transcended the sport. These current fighters have not.

Would agree with you there. Casual fans, when asked about who they know in boxing, they'll say Tyson or Ali. Some think Tyson still fights. Sadly, not too many know of Mayweather or Pacquiao outside of boxing.

I remember being in a meeting and someone said the Nobel Price winner getting a million. And I said Mayweather gets 60x that for one fight. They said who? They thought I was talking about MMA.

I don't care but Floyd is the best fighter of this generation bar none. And sense he has more money, I think that gives him a huge advantage over Napuiao getting some strange. If Floyd fought PAC right now many of you would call it a cherry pick. Let's hope PAC gets by Rios tonite eh.

Exactly. I don't know whether it's a PPV thing with the mass public but the public needs a HEAVY-weight, a popular one because that's the weight the masses really like.

Yeah May and Pac are popular but nowhere near to the extent of Ali or Tyson, probably not even Foreman too.
