Mayweather's Pattern of Ducking Revealed!

I respect strong opinions when they are based on facts, this has to many wholes and spins in it to be respected.

1. Arum already had the Cotto-Margo fight lined up and if Cotto would have won he would have fought De La Hoya. Cotto wouldn't have faced Mayweather until 2009 regardless of retirement or not. Mosley lost to Cotto so that option wasn't that appealing, Margo was going to fight Cotto so he was out of the picture. Paul Williams and Berto were probably available but neither really had a big following yet or known by anyone other then die hard fans. So to him it was better to retire and allow these guys to blow up in his absence then come back and make a couple big money fights.

2. You don't think that Pac and Mayweather had feelers out there for negotiation after the DLH fight before Mayweather came out of retirement? Mayweather came out of retirement to fight Pac after the DLH fight. I can guarantee you that there were feelers sent out for a fight and they didn't come to agreement on purse split or weight class. So Mayweather fought JMM to boost his negotiation leverage.

3. Its only called a roadblock because Pac was scared of testing up to the fight. Its not a roadblock if Pac didn't care. It wasn't a road block for Mosley because he didn't have Pac's fear of possible testing close to the fight.

Your sum up is also a spin because Mayweather wanted testing up to the fight from the beginning. Pac wanted it up 30days as a counter. Hatton thing comes out that he tested 24days before a fight, he then comes down to 24 days, Mayweather still wants up to the fight but offers a last concession of 14days. Pac's camp turns down the 14days and offers 24days fight is off.

Then after the Mosley fight which you conveniently left out how Mayweather was supposed to be scared of Mosley etc.. Mayweather clearly stated that he wanted testing up to the fight since Mosley gave it credibility. Pac then goes on to accept 14days.

Now I think Mayweather should have accepted the 14days and made the fight, so I can understand the people bashing him for that and going on vacation. At the same time he probably didn't want to fight until his Uncle's situation was cleared up and he seems to not like the way that GBP has been negotiating for him with Arum and will probably look to have King negotiate for him next time around.

If you want to make a case for Mayweather you can attempt to make one, but if you see yourself having to lie or spin the truth in order to make your point then your being nothing more then biased and a hater.

 

There always was a cut of date, OSDA don't drug test 24hrs before a fight.

it doesn't matter who said it. it is how things are looking. it doesn't take a foreman or hagler to point this out.

 

Foreman and Hagler both lost to someone who they felt were hit and run types.Are they suppose to forget that.They still hate Ali in Foreman's case and Leonard in Haglers case.Most of these old boxers resent all of these new boxers for making all of this money that these these older fighters made possible with their blood and hard work.

 

As far as Floyd ducking.Oh well.Cheer for Pacq and be happy for the hero.Why bring up the villain.It's like preachers not preaching good but focusing on the devil.I don't get it.

I can't stand a few fighters and you wouldn't know it because I ignore them.You guys should ignore Mayweather,not buy his fights and not keep his name in circulation.Shrink him by ignoring him.That's what I would do if I hated him because that's what I do to fighters I don't like.
