disagree...AS A FIGHTER, FLOYD IS UNIQUE BECASUE OF HIS DEFENSE....HIS DEFENSE IS LIKE NOTHING I'VE EVER SEEN...THIS IS WHAT SEPARATES HIM AS A FIGHTER THAN MOST OTHER FIGHTERS AROUND... He has learned his defensive technique so much that he never really has to "fight and test his heart" becasue nobody really presents enough of a threat to MAKE HIM get out of his game
It's not undeserved. He didn't fight Mosley, Margarito, Cotto, P.Williams and now weaseled out of the Pac fight. He retired instead of fighting any of those guys. Then in his comeback he chooses a lightweight JMM (cheated him on the scales) and now looks likely to fight Matthew Hatton. And he has the nerve to publicly **** on Sugar Ray Leonard's legacy because he lost to Camacho as a 40 year old? SRL came back to face the toughest challenge of his life in Hagler at Middleweight. He also faced prime Duran, Benitez and Hearns. Mayweather truly is a ***** compared to him. Leonard would kick li'l Floyd's ass like he did his crackhead father's.

I'm a fan of Floyd as a boxer. He's not the sort of guy I'd want to hang out with though. He has no doubt earned some of his reputation for choosing money over interesting fights, and for talking out of his ass, but I'm just completely baffled by what the **** the picture you posted is supposed to prove?
I think you misunderstand what Im getting at. Floyd isnt a big risk taker in the fights he choses...If he is taking a risk it has to have big rewards. My point had absolutely nothing to do with his in the ring abilities. Most fighters are in some way like that today because of the culture of the sport now. An 0 is much more important these days compared to past eras..because back then a loss didnt particularly effect your earning potential if you were willing and good enough to bounce back and keep fighting. Now its a different story. Floyd doesnt want to fight people who he may lose against, especially post-Castillo..unless he is getting very handsomely compensated. There are quite a few names missing from his record that should have been there instead of the Brussles, Mitchell's and Ndou's. But what Im trying to get at is you cant completely fault Floyd for that...its the way the game has changed.
