From what I remember in the 24/7 show between Mosley and Floyd, they were very random - didn't matter whether either fighter was in training or not. Like you said, "they can catch you anytime" - and that's exactly what was going on during their stint leading up to the fight. Whatever the case is, Floyd wants only 6 blood tests in a 2 month span. Very reasonable! Especially when your job is to overcome mental hurdles.

I mean in the offseason. If you're selected to compete in the olympics, they test you whether or not you're in full olympic training mode. Ideally, the drug testers can knock on Floyd's door sometime in january and make him pony up a blood sample as long as he's an active fighter. THAT'S olympic style random.

And Floyd doesn't want 6 blood tests, that's how many that USADA decided to take. There isn't a guarantee on the cut off and the former Chief Medical officer for the Olympics said that it isn't necessary to take random samples over a 60 day period like that if you're getting random urine at any ****ing time if you have reference samples.

Okay. Now then. I'm done beating that horse again. I don't want to start a full blown science argument on PED testing.

I really don't give a flying **** as to what it's called...OSDT, Floyd's Plan, Mind ****..doesn't matter. We're splitting hairs, here. What's important is he went through a more strict blood testing program which ensures: (1) He has stepped up the plate (2) He is likely clean. As for the other guy...who the hell knows what's in his head or in his blood for that matter. You can't expect me to assume he's innocent or guilty. Now if USADA does something unreasonable such as request someone to provide 600 blood samples then one has every right to refuse for a good reason. That scenario is however very unlikely and we can pretty much assume the number of blood tests being requested is at a reasonable number.

Again, biased opinions aside, who are you likely to trust, someone who has gone through a more strict program or one who keeps refusing? I don't want to hear any of that nonsense about rights to turn down a request due to unflattering circumstances. We're talking about the rough, cutthroat sport of Pro Boxing, not The Special Olympics. If Manny Pacquiao was a handicapped child I'd buy him an ice cream cone, pat his head, and tell him he never has to see a needle again as long as he's competing in a diluted sport.

But oh don't you see this is magical Saint Pacquiao, he can do nothing wrong. Sure other guys have been caught on peds, but he couldn't possibly do that. Hell other guys in his trainers stable have been caught using peds, but no way in hell Pacquiao could ever do that. Because Saint Pacquiao does nothing wrong, and even though 6, 7, hell even 10 blood tests over an 8 week period is pretty much nothing, we should never question Saint Pacquiao.

if you go by mayweather sr.'s stand on this, the ts has a point. although floyd passed them urine tests, he might have been using steroids for a long period of time and only stopped during retirement. it wasn't detected in the mosley fight since it may have already been washed out of his system but the effects could benefit him for years, just as mayweather sr. has pointed out on pac.

yes you can. he still weighed 146 at the weigh-in so its not like hes put on a lot of weight. he just replaced any body fat he built up during his retirement with muscle. i think the TS is just trying to take the suspicion off pacquiao for once by raising weak suspicions that floyd is the one on PED's, but what the TS doesnt realise is that people dont suspect pacquiao because hes maintained his speed and power throughout the divisions hes fought at, its the fact that hes been able to do this AND keep his stamina throughout the whole fight. The guy still throws around 100 punches in each of the later rounds for gods sake. wouldnt surprise me at all if he has a swift, immediate downfall at the end of his career. no wonder he wants to quit soon :tong
