MBilli vs Canelo is confirmed for September 12th

I said it on the forum, Christian MBilli has the style to make Canelo shine one last time, it's a wise choice by the Mexican.

In any case, whether it was Canelo or a rematch against Lester Martinez, I wouldn't have seen MBilli keep the belt.

I actually don't mind this fight. If there's anyone that can make it exciting AND make Canelo look good its Mbilli. Although I would have preferred to see a rematch with Lester Martinez and then have the winner face Canelo.

 

Is Turki still paying stupid money to Canelo whilst seeing very diminishing returns?

 

Canelo should be able to out box him, which is why he's fighting him. I hope Mbilli can actually rough him up

 

I also think Mbilli's style is a good style for Canelo, but this Canelo has been in clear decline for a while now, so I think he will lose to Mbilli. Styles makes fights, that's right, but Father Time is undefeated. Then, as always, the ring has the final say.

Not sure if you know what confirmed means, this is not confirmed. I will be very surprised if he fights Mbilli. I think he fights the winner of Mungia Rezendiz.

 

Canelo will reportedly be ringside this weekend at Benavidez fight. I think Canelo - maybe I'm delusional - is going to enter the ring postfight. If so, the only question is '68 or '75

I love this fight. The styles should make for an exciting one. If Canelo is even more declined he could lose too.

 

I think Mbilli has a very good chance here. Canelo will have been inactive for a year , has had surgery, has looked like **** in his last two fights and has generally been on the decline for a few years. People are saying Mbilli could make Canelo look good, but I think he’ll be the final nail in the coffin.

Canelo lost all his appeal once Crawford owned him.

 

Solid match up I rate Mbilli higher than Munguia and Berlanga. Canelo is claiming he was injured during the Crawford fight so I guess we will see what he has left.
