Struggle is a hard fought SD. Monroe landed a few punches, sure, but GGG dropped him twice, had him shook a few times and made him quit in the 6th. Not exactly struggling.
I remember Manny Stewart stating that Gerald was "the best all around fighter he's ever worked with". I think it was in the postfight interview after Gerald made his first title defense against Jay Bell ( the fastest 160 lb title KO ever). So apparently Gerald had much more than just power. When he left Manny he went downhill in terms of training and strategy. But I think under Manny, Gerald woulda been too much for GGG. He would had a good size and reach advantage. Manny said Gerald had an incredible chin. Manny woulda had Gerald take full advantage of his big advantages in size and reach.
McClellan UD or late stoppage. He was much more than just a hard hitter. He had a good jab, could fight at range and had good speed. He could also take a punch.
Anything is possible, but frontrunners tend not to knock out iron-chinned fighters early. G-man was a frontrunner. If he didn't get to GGG early, he wouldn't win. McClellan had a losing record in fights that went past 6 and the only rated fighter he ever beat was Jackson. You'll find that it was extremely rare that King put him in with fighters who didn't already have a history of being KO'd. Exciting fight, but gimme GGG here.
To be fair McClellan should have had a 1st round stoppage over benn the red was appalling.i was cheering for Bennett but looking back it was bad
Lions just like kittens like to play with their food. All part of the big drama show. Haterz Inc calls it struggling... Lmao
G-man in brutal war. We truly havnt seem GGG tested yet. Its not his fault nobody with a name wants to fight him. Cotto is an embarrassment in this scenario.
The animal abuser lost to **** opposition something triple duck has not done far. Both the animal abuser and triple duck faced bums but only the dog abuser has to lost to bums.
