Olusegan has stagnated recently and not fought since June. What has gone wrong? McCloskey is in the better position, but 140 is a packed division, and Hatton coming back would pay more for belt holders
I would like to see McCloskey get one or at least keep getting better and winning. Not sure if he's world class yet but he's definitely better than Olusegun :-(
Hatton and McCloskey could well be Rickys return fight. A test for both to see if they still want to be in the game i.e Hatton and if they are readdy for a World title shot in McCloskey.
From Hattons interview he (rightly or wrongly) seems to want to jump back in at world title level. At 31 and a year out of the ring it would asking for trouble even if he does have anything left. I can't see MCCloskey getting a shot this year but a couple of Euro defences he could be knocking on the door for early 2011. **** knows what Ajose is up to....
They should just fight each other, prob get eliminator status as WBC rank the Euro champ and Ajose is high with them anyway. Thought Hatton was coming back at Welter so cant see either of them getting that gig
Hatton said he will only fight a top name or a champion, theres no way Hatton is going to bother with any of these two, I think if Khan comes through is next defence and Hatton comes through his fight which will most probably be Marquez then a big showdown in Britain would appeal to alot of people and be one the biggest fights between to brits for a nice few years.
McCloskey is going the right way for a title shot probably later end of 2010 or early 2011 he should have a title shot if all goes well. Although he hasn't got time on his side for a fighter that uses his reflexes like him. Ajose has been swimming in circles for a while now and beating the same brit level fighters won't do you any favors with rankings.
