After tonights non event, i think it has actually benefitted mccloskey. he was losing, but he made khan look very sloppy and showed a good chin. with his name out there, this fight could be made, how does it go down?

If Khan fights Bradley the WBA belt will become vacant as Khan will be promoted to Super Champion under WBA rules.

They should make Maidana vs McCloskey for the vacant belt.

x2 Khan won the rounds but it was McCloskey's game plan to win in the 2nd half of the fight and he made khan miss a lot of those shots. People on ESB underestimated McCLoskey. Shame on all of you who claimed he was a bum. Also- was the doctor paid off or something?

    HAHAHAHAHAHA

Really? Are we actually pretending McCloskey is some sort of contender at 140?

The Ring generously rank him at number 10. The guy has fought one opponent on world level and lost every round. Maidana would kill him. Judah would beat him. Alexander would beat him, Bradley would beat him, Kotelnik would beat him, Malignaggi (if still at 140) would beat him, Matthysse would beat him, as would Kendall Holt and Lamont Peterson.

At what point did McCloskey show a good chin? Khan has very little power anyway, a 12-round drubbing wouldn't bestow someone with the reputation of having an 'average chin'.

I think that Maidana v McCloskey is a decent fight, why not...:think

Khan foolishly deviated off his game plan and was very fortunate not to get stopped in the Maidana fight...:yep He was brave, but why get involved and take uneccesary shots at the Championship level...:think

This is a good match up, lets not judge the ending of Khan v McCloskey and some of the other **** match ups that take place that should stop this from happening...:good

khan said after the bout that if McCloskey beat Maidana he would give him a rematch. but said in the post fight press conference in which he said to McCloskey a couple of times "talk to the champ," that he Dudey wouldnt be able for Maidana

McCloskey refines his gameplan, loses the first 11 rounds on purpose, gets knocked out by a tired Maidana in the 12th.

To be fair King Khan stopped Salita on his own, didn't need the doctor to do it for him :yep :nut
