He needed to lose some weight,i thought he won the first fight and if these reports are true he should make easy work of the return if he is in good shape.

got to remain anonymouse jeff, i fear being racialy abused, when brummylad goes to his nick griffin meeting he better tell him the problem is bananas aint the only thing jamaicans grow bigger, and english girls enjoy their fruit, the future isent bright or white, he better get his forsale sighn up as well, as birmingham and the surounding areas look more like mogadishu every day.and he,s no jewelery dealer, hes sat in a dosshouse somwhere on smack, using a stolen laptop, all top jewelery firm holders have isreali pasports anyway, so he may be just a dosser for one of them.

Tyson Fury failed to show for a London press conference yesterday promoting his rematch with John McDermott which is scheduled to take place on June 25th at Brentwood Leisure Centre...but the big man couldn’t escape a severe telling off from fight promoter Frank Maloney.

The press release stated that Tyson’s trainer Brian Hughes felt travelling from Manchester and taking a day out from training would disrupt his schedule too much (Yes, he's such a fine-tuned athlete is Fury - Ed.).

Maloney said he felt that Tyson had a duty to attend and help promote ‘a fight that the public want’ considering the money he’s getting and put much of this down to Fury’s promoter Mick Hennessy.

“He should have got his big fat a*** down here as this show is being put on for him, he’s not getting as much money as Mick Hennessy would have paid but Mick is not delivering the fight, you know anyone can put in fictitious bids and win bids but not deliver fights.

“I’m glad to say we are delivering the fight for a little less money but still a lot of money for an English title and a final eliminator for the British title.”

Maloney also had another shot at Hennessy saying that his stable are ‘the forgotten fighters of British boxing with Mick suffering from paranoia because he likes to control everything and the reason why no one outside of the trade has heard of Tyson Fury is because Mick’s fighters don’t turn up for press conferences or help to promote fights.’

In their first fight last September controversy triumphed with Tyson gaining a hotly disputed points victory from referee Terry O’Connor.

Maloney added McDermott was robbed on the night and this fight was ‘justice for John.’

The sweet irony of this ... "Fat lazy twat" and "big john" mentioned in the same sentence and you are not actually referring to McDermott.

I hope McDermott can gain revenge. I disagree with him about the Williams fights but he deserved to beat Fury. It's a shame he couldn't rematch O'Conner after the sinful scorecard.

i can't confirm this but its said fury told a freind on facebook he's 20st 7lb now maybe this is some silly game he,s playing, and a load of bull, but mcdermotts a good fighter at his level, and deserves enough respect to be in condition for, he,s not, in the gym at colyhurst, pat barrett who was co training him is in jail, the heavyweight scene in uk is very thin, who,s fury sparring, mcdermott/ moloney have a near monopoly on uk heavys so johns not short of a sparring partner or two.:huh

I just get the feeling this could be another Rogan-Sexton situation.

Everyone up in arms and bellowing for justice after the first bout, vowing that the truth will come up in the rematch, only for it for end in a more definitive loss. I would not be surprised to see Fury knock McDermott about for the stoppage.

Bloody lazy not to do the conference though. Boxing 1-0-1 here.
