Finally, first domestic boxing of the new year :happy Sky go on air at 8pm... Jamie McDonnell vs Stephane Jamoye - this is a great matchup. Jamoye's only loss was a dodgy one to Tomoki Kameda. Undercard...Carl Johanneson was meant to fight Akaash Bhatia in what would have being a top fight but that's now off. Johanneson is now fighting George Watson as he keeps busy before a title eliminator with Crolla next month. Prospects Liam Cameron, Glenn Foot and Dale Miles see action. There's a few more undefeated fighters as well but I can't say I've heard of them. McDonnell won his Euro title in France and Danny McIntosh aims to do the same tonight. Premier Sports go on air at 9.30pm so hopefully there's no clash between the two main events. McIntosh's opponent is Thierry Karl who holds a TKO1 win over Nadjib Mohammedi (that poofy fella who gave Clev shitloads of trouble). Doesn't seem to be anything decent on the French undercard but my knowledge of the French domestic scene is non-existent. And finally if you wish to stay up and catch some boxing from the States, Premier will show the eagerly-anticipated heavyweight title clash (WBF version of course...) that is Evander Holyfield vs Sherman Williams. If you think that's special then how about this...not only do we get this great heavyweight clash but we also get to see Kevin Johnson on the undercard!
The PPV (in America) starts at 2am and there's Kevin Johnson and Monte Barrett fights before the main event.
Don't forget Monte Barrett, Cedric Boswell and Chauncy Welliver are fighting too. That's America's top 5 heavies all on one card!
apart from the tyson fights ive never seen evander fight:yikes been in the pub all day and went tesco on way home, got cocktail sausages, pringles, red bull but forgot beersatsch
:happy Had my last exam yesterday too, perfect timing for some live boxing. Gonna drink and smoke myself silly and watch the boxing with no shitty exams at the back of my mind. Lets hope for 2 british wins :good
