Mcdonnell v hall only benefits hall

Mcdonnell is above hall in every rank by a mile, only reason the match would get made is because Malibu would not lose out, they need to focus on a step up for euro defence, then focus on world level.

Only way Mcdonnell v hall should happen is if Mcdonnell loses a fight first or if hall comes in as a late replacement

 

I agree. The bloke who had only ever won one fight outside of Africa was a much better opponent.

Yep.... there are loads of continental bantams who deserve a fight with McDonnell more than Hall.

I mean, being British champion and winning the belt for keeps really means **** all in the grand scheme of things.

I wonder if in a few years time when McDonnell packs in whether he'll regret not having that on his mantlepiece.

In all seriousness, they're #1 and #2 in the division domestically, there's no ''name'' European to make a fight interesting, would be a good fight to make for all three titles.

Bit of a local derby too, Hall might be from Darlo but he's based in Leeds. Obviously McDonnell is a Donny lad..... could have it at Barnsley Metrodome or something.

Knowing Mismatch it'll probably be somewhere miles away, like Liverpool with Price on the undercard.
