I THINK it's about 11-12k in the seats and then like you said another 2k on the pitch, if they get the pricing right they could pack it out
It would be unbelieveable if he sold it out....you never know, it will definitely capture the imagination locally I'm sure. If he does win and Donny go up then I will be in a daze for months ) at Dennis Priestly
Capacity is a tad over 15,000....Ive never seen it full. It is a weird low roofed structure but it was built the way it was to allow extra tiers to be added when we get to the premiership Hope springs eternal in this part of the world. Pricing is the key, I agree
Crazy When did we last have two world title fights in two different venues in this country on the same night?
Like icemax said before it's Hobson. My guess is they threw lots of money at it to get it over. It'll be interesting to see where it ends up on TV (if it does). Maybe a Sky double header?
Cheers. Home advantage is a big advantage and could pull off a cheeky points win. I doubt Hearn will get this on Sky, with a big night already with Burns so BoxNation probably will pick it up :happy
Yeah I was just thinking Sky seem to like Jamie and his last fight was on a Matchroom card. Whatever happens I hope it doesn't clash too much with the other fights, It would be nice to see as much as possible live.
Im serious now, the poor **** is going to get the shock of his life when he turns up in Donny early May :?
Kid's probably getting excited at the thought of fighting in a stadium in England. Then he'll arrive in Donny...
I think you hit the nail on the head first attempt....Donny is hardly replete with internationally recognised sporting heroes
They need to get him off the train at Newark and complete the trip via car and the A1....he doesn't need to be arriving at Donny train station and left to his own devices :-(
