Wonder who Hobson can get on the undercard...he needs a couple of decent undercard fights to help sell this out and his stable of fighters I wouldnt have thought would be capable of doing that.
I work right next to the station. Our offices look out onto the platforms, in fact. I could take him to Greggs in the Frenchgate.
Oh and Deano is alright 2 wins out of 3 is good form (forget the previous 8 or 9 games before that though) Back on topic so the McDonnell fight is on the same night as the Ricky Burns card that's a shame although with the possibility of Doncaster reaching the play offs and the CL Final and Froch v Kessler on the 25th I suppose It's the most logical date in May.
and a pint in the Trades club :thumbsup. He'll feel right at home.....until the wind chill sets in :deal
Yeh so Icemax its gonna be like 5c right? Ceja is gonna see the tan on McDonnel and it will confuse the **** out of him!
I agree the date is ****ing mental when Burns is fighting up in Scotland on the same night, likely against Vasquez again in that unification match. I suppose that was the only date available for the stadium then otherwise they'd surely have taken the week before and they didn't want a world title fight in some bloody leisure centre. I'm surprised Hearn apparently didn't try to make a deal for this to be on the Froch-Kessler II undercard, it would certainty beef it up. I doubt Jamie will win, even with a bear pit crowd behind him. I've said before I think his lack of power will leave him wanting against a true world class opponent. Hopefully I'm wrong and he can pull it off because we'd all love another British world champ.
Yet another completely irrelevant reminder that Rob now lives in the States. Keep them coming Rob :happy
