A top MMA journalist has posted in the last few hours that Conor McGregor is fighting Nate Diaz in a rematch scheduled for September. So I guess this rules out the Floyd Mayweather fight now. Knew it was all bogus! Floyd be trolling. Floyd trolled all of you.
I think you're the one who got trolled most here thought FLoyd was just using McGregor's name to get attention and try to look relevant.
Their promoters made a deal - rematch in August, Las Vegas. Mr Mayweather will have to wait for better opportunity. Good news for boxing !!
Conor came to his senses then. Either that or Dana brought him to heel. There's no way he could have possibly been competitive with Mayweather and it would have been incredibly damaging to the UFC to have their poster boy battered from pillar to post by old man Mayweather. McGregor will have realised no amount of money is worth soiling your entire legacy over. He would have resigned himself to the history books as that once popular loudmouth who received an absolute beat down in front of a global audience.
Just as floyd would receive a beat down in the mma and it wouldn't effect his hyped legacy. Trust floyd to want connor to fight him in his sport so as to have a total advantage. He should grow some micro nuts and use his boxing skills in the cage and connor can use his style of fighting and see who comes out on top. I guarantee floyd gets viciously beat.
