Floyd has been pretty stationary / flat footed lately. Just sayin'. As the video points out, that's a bad idea against Manny.

I especially like the error/inconsistency in HBO's "Manilla Ice" statements.

Wow so are you telling everyone that Marquez is dumb when he said Pacman has improved since their last fight?

There's a difference between being flat-footed and fighting at close range, than being flat-footed and fighting at long range. You don't necessarily need to move around much when you fighting in long range, the guy have to leap/lung in to try to get in close punching range reach, and therefore you'll have the advantage to catch him off balance rushing in. These guys fought Manny flat-footed, but they basically stood in directly in front of him and he didn't had to leap/lunged in to set up his combos, they were right in close punching reach range in front of him. Are you telling me that Mosley has better movement than Floyd? Yet, Manny couldn't cut off the ring properly because he's not as fundamentally developed as some of his fans are making him out to be.

Floyd can fight flat-footed at long range, and make you miss when you lung in especially if you are at a reach disadvantage like Manny would be against Floyd. Floyd can still bounce back or side steps when he wants to, he's just being more flat-footed to conserve his energy. Manny is very quick with his movement and hands speed, but unlike the guys that he has fought recently, Floyd has great timing and accuracy to catch Manny when he leap in to close in the range gap space to land his combos because he's always off balance. I keep on hearing of how great Manny's footwork is, but he couldn't even cutting off the ring properly against Shane without resetting his movement.

The guy who did these videos makes some good points. I don't see drastic changes in Manny either, since JMM 2. I see marginal improvement, and a decline in the ring IQ of his opponents, compared to fighters like Marquez, Morales, Barerra, whom he faced earlier on. He is boxing circles around these bigger opponents though, which underscores the fact that in a pound for pound sense they were below his level anyway. He is a great athlete though to be able to move up in weight and demonstrate that in the fashion that he has.

Marquez himself told before(Nacho also), that Pacquiao improved. Who is more credible, JMM or the video maker that never boxed before? We also know that JMM, does not like Pacquiao, and yet he told that Pacquiao has improved.

Another thing, compare Pac's fight with the slow and inferior opponent Larios to his fight with Cotto, and you will see huge improvement.

The VIDEO ITSELF* that never boxed before will not bring a bias opinion..JMM WILL...

IN THE MEAN TIME ITS RIGHT THERE FOR YOU.

Funny how these *******s stay away from REAL $HIT THAT EXPOSES THEIR ARGUMENTS..LMFAO

You make good points. I think with the Mosley fight Manny and Roach were really concerned with Mosley's power and Manny was fighting in straight lines not giving the lateral movement we've seen from him before. I think the distance is the key to the fight like you said Floyd would pick Manny apart if he can control the distance. I go back and forth because I would expect Manny to use lateral movement and Floyd likes to move in straight lines.

I also believe that to figure out the truth we should just take the average between the *******s and *****s. Therefore, Manny has improved a little since the JMM 2 fight, but is essentially the same fighter.

Why JMM would be bias, he does not like Pacquiao and despute Pac's win. What gain he will get by telling Pacquiao improved. As I told, watch pac's fight against the slow and inferior Larios with his fight with Cotto, and you will see improvements.
