No man, you got me all wrong! I love boxing and I've shown appreciation for fighters from all over the world. You will be hard pressed to find a post from me saying anything negative about Kov, G, Loma or Usyk. These guys are top notch talents that would do well with most ATG's. It's their crazed fans that drive me crazy. For example, I made comment about Loma fighting bigger guys and how it might be a problem because Salido was able to take his shots and keep throwing. this guy came at me like I called Loma dog sh!t or something. I was like, you can't say anything negative about him. Ridiculous! I was more or less talking about Loma moving up in weight and how he might not be as effective. Just talking boxing and I get this sack sucker all butt hurt because I wasn't saying his hero wasn't the best bestis ever. Guys like that don't deserve to have their fighters win and that is the biggest reason I go against Kov and G. Loma and Usyk, I find difficult to go against. They really want to do big things and test themselves. I can't be agsint them too often, although there has been moments.
Were you suprised as much as I was in the manner Canelo stalked G? Had G backing up most of the fight. G's face looked like he got repeatedly smacked with a large sack of golf balls. I wanted G to beat Canelo's cheating ass too but, Canelo proved to be the better man. The one good thing that comes with a G loss is that's another group of sack suckers we no longer need to worry about. Kov sack suckers got taken care of, next is the Fury sack suckers. Although, I won't be suprised if Fury boxes Wilders head off. At least the sack suckers will be on edge for next few months.
Golovkin played the boxer role this time around, since he is getting older, he outboxed Canelo though. And Golovkin's career isnt over, he will hopefully fight other contenders at middleweight before he retires. Golovkin fans arent going anywhere, nobody forgets robbery's my man, especially in this day and age where people have access to the internet and can see the fights.
Not all G fans. As I stated before, it's the over the top fans that I can't stand. I'm a G fan myself. I wanted him to beat Canelo. I also try to be objective. I won't get my panties in a wod if someone says G isn't this or that. That's the fan I like to mess with.
It's a strange world when I find an A-hole like Smith to be more on the money than a guy I respect a lot in Atlas.
Ive sat & watched it twice my card both times was 116-112 for GGG. Both guys fought a good fight. Canelo proved himself. He can FIGHT!! Why in the past he let Oscar make him look like a coward & why he used the clenbuterol . Congrats to Canelo he;s the champ now I hope Oscar lets him go for GGG/Canelo III Great fight guys Congrats to Abel Sanchez for the way he accepted the decision too . I wonder what Oscar;s reaction would have been if it had gone the other way . The judges were more subtle this time I think
It IS fishy when the vast majority of knowledgeable fight people believed GGG won both fights, yet only 1 judge in 6 gave him a fight. Canelo just has some kind of spell on judges. The main and most important ingredient in judging is clean, effective punching. You have to decide whether thst 1 hook was bigger than 2 jabs, but its punches landed and damage. The oft-quoted effective aggression, defense and ring generalship are largely unused tie breaker type criteria. Also- going backward doesnt mean youre not using ring generalship. You can also punch while on the back foot and be "aggressive". Much like Ward-Kovalev 1, the issue I have with both of these GGG-Canelo fights is that it seems judges gave almost every close round to Canelo, which is strange. Last night, for exmple, as we scored the fight, we noted the 3rd,5th,7th and 9th rounds as "close". The 3 judges gave Canelo 10 of a possible 12 of these rounds. In recent years, canelo, Floyd, and ward alone seem to get this treatment.
For what its worth i scored it 115-114 for golovkin, but after watching it again twice i scored it 117-114 again for Golovkin, i had six rounds to three with three being even. Some of the rounds were very close so i scored it as i saw it, with no bias to either fighter just as a fan of boxing.
