Yep, because GGG clearly won that round as well.

I think maybe 4 of ringside of the ringside media had it for Canelo in 2 fights.

Amost all the rounds were close, that was the nature of the fight. But they can be close but clear at the same time.

It was a close fight, as was the first. Most of the rounds were difficult to score. I scored it a draw.

I can see 115-113 for Canelo. The A side wins the close rounds in the sport of boxing.

It was not a clear robbery like Kovalev-Ward I.

The extremly common scores in both fights were Golovkin won, by anywhere from 9-3 to 7-5, and that in both fights.

I've never been a Canelo fan, and I do think GGG won the 1st fight 115-113. Byrd's scorecard of 118-110 Canelo was criminal.

That being said, the scorecards for their 2nd fight were perfectly fine. 115-113 Canelo and 114-114 are perfectly reasonable, as is 115-113 GGG.

I've rewatched and scored the 2nd fight on 3 separate occasions over the years: the first 2 times I had it 114-114, the 3rd time I had it 115-113 Canelo.

To me it was even through 7, with the momentum going in Canelo's way until mid way through the 8th where GGG ended up winning the 8th and sweeping 9-12. I had it 117-112. after most recent veiwing.

Jesus, 6 years later and the crying still continues.

Surprised nobody made a thread yet on Dervy vs GGG, that fight could legitimately be scored for Dervy but since that’s not part of the agenda, people pretend like it didn’t happen.

Seriously, I don’t even think the first fight was a huge robbery. I had 8-4 GGG, but if you give the close rounds to Canelo it was a draw. The rematch was super close and could’ve gone either way so people shouldn’t be too angry at that either. Also yeah, Derv fight was razor thin and Jacobs was also super close. Like you said though, not on the agenda.

Wasn't it a MD? It wasn't that controversial, to me anyways. The first fight was a clear Golo win, let's let the hate for Canelo go. He doesn't care (clearly).

Which fighters? Spence, Ward, Charlo? The ones who hate GGG and have an agenda to talk up Canelo in order to add on to Floyds win against him?

Sergei is a sweetheart of a person too. Got to spend some time with him and dude is super cool. You’d think for a guy who’s gotten the short stick so many times he’d be an ******* but one of the most humble people I’ve met.

You had it 8-4 for a reason. Canelo doesn't deserve a pass just because he is Canelo.

I cannot truly believe how any real boxing fan STILL supports Canelo. Its done so blatantly, blind man could see it. You name it, he's done it Peds abuse, blatantly obvious adjudicating, cherry picking etc . He claims he fights who he wants & when or if he fights his legitimae contenders at all All under the eyes of the state commission who seem to conveniently look the other way. I can honestly say he has never made 2 cents out of me I caught on to him early on
