Well he'd already agreed to fight Meehan in NZ, should Kali have won the other night, so I don't see why not.

    Time will tell hey...

With your management, sexy boxing must have now found a set and is willing to fight bigger names?

But saying that your willing to fight and actually fighting them are vastly different...

Everything from our end, purse etc had been agreed. Travis rocked the apple cart, that's boxing.

Maybe Meehan will have a change of heart in a week or so and this fight could still happen...... that's of course if you don't change the terms of the original deal....... was the mickey mouse IBF belt a big consideration in the appeal of the fight?

Dam those flimsy apple carts :? Was so keen to see Mark finally get a shot at him. If it does still come off a hungry Kali will be even more dangerous.

    Fingers still crossed.

Not trying to take anything from Travis's performance but Meehen did not look in good shape from the onset, the only thing getting him through was experiance and bluffing until Travis stepped it up, honestly i feel his heart is not in it anymore, after he got robbed he has never been the same, he isnt hungry for it or he would training the house down and look the part for it. simply put he does not want it anymore.

Blah, blah, blah, agreed terms, blah, blah, blah...

I've heard a 1000 fights get 'agreed terms' yet never make it remotely to the squared circle with the opponents facing each other at centre ring.

Like I said, that's boxing. Who knows, maybe Kali fights on - that's up to him. From Mark's end, he'd agreed.

Like I said also - throw Walker in with your sexy boxing imposter as Walker is fit and ready to go.

I know you'd be happy to throw him in with Meehan, he's a dead man walking in the ring now so he fit's the bill on your matchmaking criteria, much the same as sexy boxing's next opponent.

not if he trained how he normally does.

considering kali was well in front until the good shot, i think that is incorrect.

but i'll believe it when i see it for mark. too much talk means nothing imo.

    proof is in the ring.

With respect to ippy seems like he's trying to get mdm fighting regularly which would be key before fighting.someone of walkers calibre if they were to fight tomorrow wAlker would win by massive ko but in a year maybe something in mark that we havemt seen
Also Leapai was no where near his best with walker that was his first hard acid test, even Kali failed multiple times before getting a winning steak going

With respect as you say, Ipswich clearly stated sexyboxing would take the fight. Ipswich is a big boy, he can speak for himself.

Was waiting for that 'Now Kali fits the bill cause he has been KO'd in one of last 3 blah blah blah'

Also waiting for if the Kali and Mark fight is still made 'Kali sucks these days blah blah blah'

Still think Kali is the top HW in the region, whether he still wants to prove that in only a couple of months after that brutal stoppage is another matter.

As Ippy said, Mark has been keen for the Kali matchup for the last 4 years and has yet to decline a fight with anyone that that will progess his career whether he is an underdog or not.

Nothing but repsect for Kali and his team and wish him the best in whatever he decides to do career and life wise.
