Tyson Fury is mentally fragile, as in - he has mental health issues. But in other aspects, he’s also mentally very strong.
Doesn’t have the discipline outside but as far as inside the ring you gotta mention James Toney for strength
A lesser boxer would have his career ended, but Klitschko came back. Your definition of mental strength is bogus. Stop riding Fury's dick.
Doesn't really matter what he 'projects'. It's how he channels whatever insecurities he has into the way he performs in the ring. I'll use Froch as an example. He was a very insecure fighter, expected respect from opponents and was visibly upset when he didn't get it - like he needed constant valediction. Before Groves 1, he was so sure of victory those insecurities were masked. And they were the things that made him train hard. Fear of losing, fear of losing status were his fuel - in camp and in fights - and he almost paid the price. The mistake Groves and McGuiness made in the build up to the rematch was to play on his insecurities and in doing so they refuelled him, they handed him reasons to be super motivated. They reminded him of all the things he feared losing: the fight, respect and status. They fundamentally misunderstood insecurities as entirely negative influences and they're not. Fury's similar: his bravado and OTT confidence probably are shielding him in some way. But what people project doesn't matter. It's what people do that counts...
his luck is hella weak too tho, imagine shitting on dubois for quitting on a broken eye socket.... just for it to happen to him HAHAH
Hilarious that sad sacks on a boxing forum are calling any boxer mentally weak. Probably a troll thread but your opinions are dog $hit fellas
Weak - Fury - Frequent issues with his mental health, inactivity, fight postponements and cancellations, changing trainers all the time and constant lies. Strong - Joshua - Frequently performs under pressure on some of the biggest stages such as the Olympics and sold out Wembley. Overcame his first loss and avenged it immediately when many thought he couldn't and dominated. Went toe to toe with a fired up great in Klitschko and overcame a knockdown to score a stoppage win. It's easy to manipulate these things to your view point or agenda, personally if you are at the top of the fight game then you are mentally tougher than 99% of the world in my opinion.
On what basis is Klitschko weak mentally? Which one? There's two of them? I guess you mean Wladimir, he is anything but mentally weak. To accomplish what he did without having a great chin is ****ing remarkable.
2 midget bullies. one of them quit and the other was already mentally beat before he even stepped into the ring with the gyspy king - tried to cheat with the canvas against a 10 to 1 underdog in his own backyard wlad shat himself when a 6’9 fighting man walked into his camp and took his alpha status and schooled him in the sauna
@xnico Take Fury's **** out of your mouth. For someone so concerned about size-bullies you are very fond of a guy who is a size-bully himself. If a 39 year old weight bully is his greatest win then Fury himself is nothing special.
