Mercer/Holmes - Round One...

    I'm actually curious what the point of a Holmes win was, to the point of making it a thrown fight. If that's what it was.

    The Holmes/Holyfield fight probably say 20 million dollars made between the two, right?

    KO? NO! Holmes was caught cold stepping in.... Holmes was staggered but still intact..... It was a great round / effort by Mercer in 1992, but Holmes proved to be too goddamn great for the limited but rugged Raymond Mercer................. Holmes sweet Holmes.....

    Yeah, these guys will try to discredit anything Holmes accomplished. Mercer went soft after the first round, please.:roll: Mercer had a lot more to gain than a 41+ Holmes. Watch the second round its right here on youtube. Larry actually started boxing more after getting nailed in the first, maybe thats why Mercer wasnt able to tag him as much.
