Mexicos support really varies on how much the mex/american embraces mexico. if he has the flag on his trunks and the mexican entrance music i think he will have full support.

Being an English gentlemen partaking of an evenings entertainment, along with my young son, at the JM Marquez v Juan Diaz fight in Houston, I greatly enjoyed the friendly and passionate atmosphere. I was a bit puzzled by the booing for Diaz, and Marquez in turn, and particularly for ODLH whenever he appeared. Like wise the wild shrieks and cheers for Mario Lopez were surprising. But the partisan atmosphere is clearly cultural, not genetic. Best night out I've had. You don't really appreciate world class until you see two combatants drag that out of each other, right it in front of you. J Diaz is a fine fighter and person, but I am a Marquez fan by the way.
