Miadana has injuried his back and pulled out of the fight.

    Who should be the replacement?

    I say Devon Alexander!!!!!!!

The fight is postponed, it's not off.

Oh ****, just when you thought 2010 is finally shaping up, it suffers a setback.

Junior welterweight contender Marcos Maidana evidently injured his back and has pulled out of his June 19 clash with undefeated WBO Timothy Bradley. "Whoever told you is giving you hot stuff, because I just found out a few minutes ago," said Bradley promoter Gary Shaw, who will be working with HBO to secure a replacement opponent. Remember where you heard it first! 1:38 PM ET

From a place where Boxing is Talk.

When you secure a replacement - the fight is usually off.

**** i knew it. whenever a fight fans want to see get signed and ready to go in no time it gets cancelled/delayed. its like we have to earn the fight by waiting a few years. was too good to be true.

2010 is still looking fantastic, and as others have said, it's a postponement, not a cancellation.

  11. One article says they are looking for a new date, while the other article quotes Shaw as saying they are looking for a new opponent... So I guess we'll see what happens, hopefully its just pushed back a bit, its a great fight.

If it's only postponed...this could be a good thing in the long run, considering they were going going head to head with Green-Ward on Showtime. Hopefully, it's rescheduled for a night when HBO doesn't have anything in the works.

I'd rather it be postponed too. Actually got excited about this fight myself.
