Excellent point. I hate when they have competing cards on the same night.

 

I think who Bradley fights as a replacement will tell us if the fight is off. If its a soft touch then the fight will still happen this year, if he fights someone like Alexander then the fight is likely not going to happen for awhile.

I think that Alexander fight is the one that Bradley wanted if he couldnt get one of the top guys from 147.

 

Dan Rafael quoted Gary Shaw as saying the fight is just being pushed back about a month and that GBP told Shaw that Maidana needs 20 days off.

So, that appears to be the accurate story and no big deal if the fight goes on in July. Bradley does need to fight soon, though.

Man, 2010 is on fire. This is a great year for the sport.

 

It seems to be postponed for about a month. No big deal except it keeps Bradley out of the ring a bit longer but probably no problem there. This is one of the best fights on the schedule and I hope it still comes off. Bradley-Abregu isn't a bad fight but its a big step down in terms of excitement and signifigance.

 

July is good...The last 2/3rds of this year could be great after a disappointing first couple months..

 

That sucks I was really looking forward to that fight it guess it could be worse it could be cancelled.

I don't have any issue with this, even if it's not a legit injury. This fight was scheduled within 90 days of the Cayo fight, we can wait another month.

 

It's not off thank jeebus. This one seems to me like a definite fight of the year candidate.
