"Marquez will never fight us again," Koncz said to The Los Angeles Times. "Why would he? He has bragging rights and all the money he wants"

I guess it will be Pac vs Provodnikov/Alvarado, Marquez vs Bradley 2

Or Pac vs Bradley 2, Marquez retiring.

Anyways, grateful that there is not a 5th fight. What's the point? Marquez has proven to be the better man in this rivalry. That punch ended it all. Great finish to an epic rivalry between two good men.

Bradley vs Marquez II is as terrible as Pacquiao vs Alvarado

Arum is really running out of fights with these guys

Marquez knows he won by a very lucky punch, which is the reason he will never fight Pac again. Even with his S & C coach, who is the world's top expert on PEDS and cheating on drug tests he was still losing...........

I, and many others, would love to see a fifth fight. Though, if Marquez insists on not giving a man that gave him four shots a fight then that's up to him and retirement is his best hope since very few will buy a fight between him and Bradley again.

marquez got legit robbed by the judges in the 3rd fight.. the first 2 were close so no robbery either way there. and the 4th fight he decided not to let it go to the scorecards..
i see no problem with marquez walking away .. his 40 years old and quoting bob arum on why the 4th fight needed to be made - "we still need a 4th fight because there has been no definitive winner in the first 3" ... not sure how much more definitive it can get then KTFO6

bradley pac 2 would be an interesting fight only because of the robbery in the first fight and atleast bradley has earnt that shot after all he has done.

provodnikov is with roach so there is no way they will fight.

really short list of possible worthy opponents out there id say

4 fights is enough thank you.

Id like Pac to chase Floyd around as hard as he chases JMM around right now.

    you dont get lucky twice.

weve seen this fight anyway. it will always be 50/50. marquez loses and he is back to square 1. he has only pac on his resume. he loses that, what is left?

As much as Pac/JMM 5 isn't needed, Quality wise its one of the best fights out there.
But I do respect Marquez not wanting to fight Pac anymore.

problem is, marquez is now in the position where floyd is.

    he loses, and everything crumbles.

pac loses, so what? he already got kod, and not once in his career.

no amount of money is gonna make floyd or marquez fight pac, unless there is certainty pac loses on either.

at least marquez has given the fans 4 memorable fights.

floyd on the other hand can only do his meme.

4 fights are enough, if people give in to pac vs JMM 5 it just allows arum to continue to cycle his fighters against each other. Seriously need to push Arum to be flexible & work with GB, Arum is on the loosing end here, not enough stars in his 147-154 division to compete with GB. Pac is now in it for the money & has to push arum to think outside the box.

Also these guys have already fought 4 times, first 2 fights were razor thin, 3rd Marquez WAS robbed, & 4th is ko6. I see these *******s (farmboxer) saying it was a lucky punch, but had Pac landed a similar punch or been out boxed & won another controversial decision then none of these *******s would be itching for a 5th fight. I don’t understand the logic in calling a perfectly timed, counter punch lucky. Pac lost to a ATG, no shame in that. JMM gets the best of Pac but does not mean he is overall better, both are ATG & *******s should be happy & feel lucky that we actually got to see 2 guys at top of there game go at it & provide 4 legendary nights.

There was no more luck in that punch than a student that spent a week studying hard getting lucky on a test and getting perfect.

Marquez studied Pac, he knew his every move, and threw that same punch with all the anguish and hate that only a man being robbed of his achievement can possess, with his incredible physique supplying the extra power to finally put Pac out for good.
