I think he beats Hearns at light heavy by KO. He might outpoint Maxim and win a trilogy or series. He isn't stopping Maxim. Conteh is interesting in this grouping, I think Moorer beats him. Probably loses to the others by knockout.

Still, the slugfests against the likes of Bert Cooper and Alex Stewart still look incredibly exciting even today. Michael Moorer would been a formidable light heavyweight for as long as he could make that weight, which was very finite. He had very fast hands, loads of power, great trainer in his corner and a south paw stance. For a lot of greats this might have spelled out certain doom. As mentioned before however, his time at 175 would always be limited. By the age of 23 he was basically already finished at that weight. That and he never got a chance to truly prove himself against a world class caliber opponent in that division. A match with Virgil Hill around 1990 might have told us some things.
