i rate jackson extremely highly head to head...but on this occasion i have to say if they fought 10 times, in 7 of them nunn keeps his distance, moves, jabs and fires combinations at range to keep jackson away. nunn hit hard enough to discourage jackson and if he can stay disciplined, nunn on points
Nunn takes it. No way would Nunn be coming after Julian the way some of Jackson's victims, like Herol, did. Nunn was almost never that aggressive, he could fight negatively and still win fights, though not always in eye pleasing fashion. Beyond that, Nunn has a very large height and reach advantage thats going to keep the Hawk's bombs from connecting, on top of Nunn having great movement to keep even more distance from himself and those atomic bombs.
I thk Nunn has lots of the same flaws Graham had.They are almost the same fighter in many ways. that tendency to linger in the inside, or on the ropes and let fighters get off-first while still in range would be really dangerous here.
The Nunn of Tate/Roldan/Kalambay would pick Jackson apart and have him out of there by the middle rounds. The Nunn of Barkley/Curry/Toney runs like a thief in the night and wins a boring decision.
UD Nunn is the most likely outcome IMO. Jackson has the bomb, but is at a reach disadvantage, and thus is repeatedly beaten to the jab. However, Nunn better keep his distance.
