    Always enjoy your posts.
Completely past it? He had lost three fights ,2 to Andre Ward and 1 to Alvarez, which he reversed ,he was a reigning champ and still ranked in the top 4 in the October edition of the Ring.I think you are being a little harsh here Mr M.

Spinks completely and utterly destroys him.

He was stopped by a man rising in weight and another who was also in his mid thirties and not a huge puncher. This was a far cry from the kovalev of 2013-2015

Dude. Stop bullshitting. Andre Ward is probably top 3 of the last 20 years.

Colombia Alvarez wasn't bad either and he avenged it.

So what’s your argument ? That Kovalev was prime and that it was a comparable opponent to 1983 spinks ?

The Jinx would stop him in about 3 or 4 rounds.. When it lands clean the fight is over.

6'2" and a half actually but writing the 1/2 looks funny.

If this fight goes the distance, Oscar De La Hoya and Saul Canelo Alvarez wins unanimously. Michael Spinks just shrugs his shoulders and Canelo hugs Oscar.

This. Canelo's defence and chin are top of the stack. But Spinks would win.

Not only would I pick Spinks over Canelo at 175, I'd pick the guys Spinks beat to become champion, Qawi and Eddie Mustafa (well, the good version of him), to beat Canelo also.
