Sibson who ko'd minter facing Duran of the barkley fight? Dangerous fight for either man. 15 rounds. Who takes it?

Duran in 6 , hits harder than Hagler but not as quick.

Sibson has his moments but also gets out boxed.

Very interesting fight and one that could of happened. sibbo hit very hard and could of KOED Duran if he landed cleanly but I think Duran rides out the rough moments in this fight and outboxs Tony and probably stops him on cuts late in a great fight with both fighters being hurt .A real war.

    It's difficult to say.
Sibson probably a smarter boxer than Barkely, and as powerful, but not as huge (tall).
I thought Duran-Barkley was razor close.
Styles wise, Sibson and Duran would suit each other.
So this is too close to call.

Leonard says differently and not the 147 Ray.

Leonard is often full of it though.

I see Duran taking a UD, Sibson's face would be swelled up and cut and Durans defense and counters would be the difference. Plus Duran is all time world class , Sibson?

Well, Sibson doesn't have to be all time world class to win, he just has to be a better middleweight than a 37 year old Duran. It wouldn't surprise me to see the young and hungry Sibson of the Minter fight outwork and out hustle Duran and take a hard fought decision.

So much depends on Duran`s conditioning at Middleweight. I remember the Robbie Sims fight. Duran was the better fighter in every way. He outboxed Sims and out punched him as well. Duran hurt Sims 3 or 4 times over the course of the bout but he couldn't put him away and he left the door open to lose a decision because Robbie Sims outhustled him in some of the rounds. In fairness it was a scorching hot day and the fight was outside.

I'm certainly biased as Duran fan but I thought he should've gotten the decision anyway. It was frustrating to see him lose a fight like that.

Why Duran of Barkley? Duran of Hagler fight wins for sure.
