Sorry, but Collazo is better than Carlos anyday.

I put Collazo, Quintana, and Judah all in the same boat in terms of comp.

Cotto is an inverted fighter. As I said, the Margarito loss did not impact him, especially once you consider that Margarito had loaded gloves in the fight. Cotto easily got over that one.

Collazo never came close to pulling off an upset of a mismatch like Paul Williams :good

Taking advantage off your opponent when he isn't fighting his best isn't enough to convince me he's a better fighter than Collazo. If he was so good, how come he got spanked in the first round? How come he didn't ask for a rubber match?

I'm talking Carlo, Zab, and Luis. First off they're all slick south paws. They all have also faced elite competition and have had some success. They're not elite especially fighting at 147 but all present tough fights for almost anyone.

It's a possiblity that it could've been a fluke of an incident...but honestly...if you got KTFO in the first round, but just prior outclassed him...would you take that fight? Or doubt yourself...

It all depends on the person IMHO...he seems like a frail guy

And you can't really point out that argument until Collazo and Berto meetup again...what if the possiblity that Berto KO's Collazo in the first round :huh

We'll have to see. But what we can say is 2 outta 3 times when Carlos has fough an elite opponent, he has been KO'd

It's debatable. I don't have a strong feeling towards anyone of them over the others. From the standpoint of accomplishment, I view a defeat over anyone one of these 3 as equal. Zab obviously brings the most notoriety but none the less I group him with the other 2 just the same.

It's great to see Cotto back after losing to that lowlife cheating fraud Margarito. Looks like Cotto is mentally better now that Margarito has been exposed as a cheater and everyone knows he cheated against Cotto as well.

As previously reported, former WBO welterweight champion Carlos Quintana (25-2, 19KOs) is returning to action on October 25 in Puerto Rico. The fight will be held at the catch-weight of 152-pounds. Quintana is still hoping to land a trilogy bout with WBO welterweight champion Paul Williams (34-1, 25KOs).

Quintana outhustled Williams in February to win a decision in one of the biggest upsets of the year. Williams came back in the June rematch to stop Quintana in the very first-round. Very few fans wants to see a third fight, unless maybe Quintana re-establishes himself in a strong way, and Williams is not interested either. Quintana expects to fight for a major title in 2009.

"I don't know who is going to be my opponent for October, but I got what I wanted - to fight in Puerto Rico," Quintana said. "It's upsetting that Paul Williams does not want to give me a rematch, but I expect that I'll fight next year for a title or in a big fight."
