    I've always had a sneaking suspicion that Cuevas was the better fighter and would have beaten Carlos.

    But I think the smart money would have picked Palomino.

    Very political answer lol

    I think Cuevas stops him. Palomino is far too hitable for Pipino's devastating power and he'd end up in a war with him. Although I think King Carlos was better.

    I think that Carlos Palomino wins this war against Cuevas, he took Roberto Duran;s best for 10 rounds in June 1979, he tasted the canvas once but stayed in there with Duran. Duran later beat Cuevas too but kayoed him.

    I used to wonder myself too, but with Leonard, Duran, Hearns, and Benitez in the picture, it sure complicated things.

    Well I think Palomino starts as favourite, but i don't see him being able to keep Cuevas away for 15 rounds.

    Cuevas to pull the upset.
