Miguel Cotto vs. Oba Carr

    This is more fair match-up then the other 90's welters for Cotto. Who wins and why?

    Cotto. Cotto is more of a professional. Carr was good but more of a prospect who never materialized.

    Even though Cotto accomplished more, I think Oba would beat him. By a point or two probably.

    Carr was a good fighter, flashy combinations etc, but he was lacking in power and strength.

    Cotto would beat him up and stop him late. Carr was probably a little better than Chop Chop Corley realistically.

    Close fight. I'd favour Cotto narrowly.
