    Provodnikov is repeatedly hooking with his left at shoulder level, throwing hard as he steps forward. Alvarado is moving in and out countering with left uppercuts and right hooks from the southpaw stance. Alvarado is now orthodox, jabbing and backing up. Provodnikov follows and brushes Alvarado's face with a couple of reaching jabs. Provodnikov moves his head and tosses a long overhand right as Alvarado circles wide in the southpaw stance again.
