This is why you have to be objective in following boxing, or you have fanboys making out that 'that shot would KO anyone'. Nice avatar, once upon a time it was 'that punch from Tarver would KO anyone' :rofl

No, all we know is that it can take out glass jawed Mike Jones. Randall Bailey has good power and that's it, he blasts out journeymen, but who's he stopped at world level?

Tommy Hearns, a much bigger puncher than Bailey wasn't able to KO SRL. Why? Because SRL had an iron chin

If what you were saying was true then it would mean that in over 200 brutal professional fights Robinson never fought anybody with "Randall Bailey power" and that is ****ing absurd. The guy is not Prime Hearns. He does not have mythical Earnie Shavers power that allows him to scramble mens' synapses with a single blow or the wind from his punches.

As for Chavez/Randall, Chavez was completely shot by then having already fought 110 bouts. Your point is again completely moot. Thanks for playing, you ****ing dummy.:deal:hi:

Bailey doesn't have the technique/workrate to stop the world level guys. Like I said, if he had landed on Cotto the hype train would have derailed at 140.

How many elite guys did Tua stop? are you going to tell me he doesn't punch?

If Chavez was completely shot he wouldn't have only lost to Delahoya within the next 7 years. Call names all you want but you were proven wrong. :good

So you can't answer? Cotto was chinny at 140, and Bailey could hardly hurt him. If Bailey's power was all that, we would know.

Tua stopped Ruiz in under a minute, Ruiz's chin was fine. He also stopped other world rated fighters. Tua was a good puncher, but his power is sometimes overrated, he caught Lennox Lewis with some good shots and wasn't able to hurt him

I would say "prove it" to your first statement and then proceed to point out the Fact that Chavez was NEVER brutally KOed in Glass Jaw Jones fashion by anyone that he faced. Moron owned. Again.

Glass Jaws Exist in Boxing. Punches that would KO anybody do not. End of. Get lost, nuthugger.

Bailey didn't land anything on Cotto, Cotto cranked him to the body and Bialey was done by the 2nd round and merely tried to survive.

Ruiz  Lopez was "world rated" when bailey stopped him, soooo.

I said it would have put them on ice. The shot that landed on Jones would have ****ed Chavez up, a lesser punch already did.

And this is exactly why B-fighters become known as GOAT punchers and wrecking machines. They blast out jokes like Ruiz or fighters even worse than that and despite video evidence of them failing to do the same to better fighters, fanboys simply look at highlight reels of them sparking bums and decide that they are capable of smiting opponents with the wind of their punches.

Huge props to Bailey but he has nothing behind that huge right hand, you won't go far if your plan A, B and C is an hail mary punch

Reminds me of Sam Peter who was supposed to be this Savage Puncher and his best KO to date is Glass Jawed Oleg Maskaev. He has not one KO over a decent fighter. Same goes for Earnie Shavers he KOed nobody of note in his whole career other than Norton who had a very shaky if not Glass Jaw.

MM, we have several posters on here that are in dire need of a Punch Resistance Education Seminar. The ChinCheckers are here to stay.

Shavers was the first guy that came to mind for me and fat slob Peter is a great example of that, as well. If a guy with this supposedly terrifying one-punch killshot ability fights top-rated fighters and consistently loses to every ****ing one of them, it isn't a matter of them not connecting to show their power, it's that that power is far less significant against good fighters with good Chins. That is a Fact.

It is high time for an all-encompassing thread on Punch Resistance in which we address what constitutes an Iron Chinned Warrior, Glass Jawed Fraud, and ways of identifying these qualities in a fighter. The ignorance on this forum is becoming sickening.

Sluggles, I wish this was just the case. . I really do! I wanted to like Mike Jones!

But unfortunately, his chin is indeed make of the finest quality porcelain.

Two punches landed cleanly. TWO. If a guy gets knocked out by a paltry number of punches like that, clearly he has a Glass Jaw. Prime Hearns, who was obviously a far better puncher than Bailey, did not obliterate fighters with good Chins by landing two clean punches. That is not how it works.

Jones' Chin is Pure Glass. I knew it when he was fighting hesitantly against everybody who could punch and the exclamation point was put at the end of that statement by him getting removed from consciousness by one straight right and one uppercut that, sorry, were far from the hardest punches I have ever seen landed in a prize fight.

Go back and jerk off to your Glass Jaw Quitor Ortiz posters or call Boxing Girl for some moral support because you are only going to be abused in this thread.
