Ah, Golata would beat Mollo down. Everyone looks good when they're throwing but Mollo doesn't do much to get in to throw and Golata would be able to keep him off and land plenty, even the slow ass version we saw against McBride. Keep in mind, McBride landed a lot of those because he's so damned big.

Golota was beating Mollo on sparring many times. They have same trainer. Waste of time.

This would actually be a good fight. If Golota could beat Mollo, it shows he has something, however small it may be, left in the tank. And if Mollo beat Golota impressively, it would mean he's truly ready for a step up in class.

Nah, it would mean Chicago bragging rights, but not anything more than that. Golata is so slow and lousy now and Mollo was never anything great that this wouldn't mean much in terms of the real heavyweight picture.

True - neither guy could make much noise with the big boys, but it would at least move one up to a low-level contender and the other would be out of the picture.

Another Heavywieght fight that no one wants to see, Golota is one fight away from getting blown out in the first round again.

What's the word on the opponent, joecool? Is Meehan still the favorite here?

Cosigned on the first statement, but at this point in his career, Golota isn't much better. I think Golota would win, but it would be close.

    Here is Mollo vs Binkowski.

Not much happens in the first. Watch the second round , Mollo lands a massive left hook , then puts Mollo down two more times. Mollo utterly destroyed Binkowoski, almost exactly like he did Mcbride.

I saw the fight and Mollo's opponent was a total can, he was overweigh/ slow and had no defence.

Mollo looks quick and powerful, but it remains to be seen whether he can beat an elite fighter. Golota is not an elite top 10-15 figher anymore, so I would pick Mollo inside 6 rounds.

Great left hook.I think Mollo could give Golota lots of problems.

Would that make him a Pole-smoker?
