Listed weight at Box rec. Jack Johnson 205 lbs drew with Philadelphia Jack O'Brien 162 lbs by NWS in round 6 of 6. Mendoza on this thread.

How did a 150 pound Jack O;Brien according to primary source better one Jack Johnson?.Mendoza on the other Johnson thread.
For the record neither man weighed in.

I cant be arsed to indulge the hater ie correcting the "tko in an exhibition etc"He will just repeat it later ,well let him, who gives a ****?
Meanwhile, here is a photo for the," hater."

    Moorer by KO. Probably early.

How many advanced one punch KO southpaws did Johnson fight? None. How many limited plodders did Moorer fight? Plenty.

Putting any of these old time black and white fighters against modern champions like Michael Moorer is unfair to the old school guys and is kind of disrespectful to them. They should be left in their era because they wouldn't be able to complete.

Sergey Kovalev wold probably stop Johnson.

There should be a 40 year limit between matches for turn of the century guys like Johnson, which shortens every generation so that by about the 80's you cant match a fighter up- with a guy 15 years away.

As the sport sped up and advances, it just becomes to unfair to match up Burns with Baer, Louis with Tyson, or Vitali with Holyfield etc.

Probably in about 10 years, the fairness limit will need to be set at only 10 years, maybe in 20 years the limit will need to be only 5. Think about it.
