I just don't see Jennings even coming close to hurting Perez.
Perez has a very good chin, but average power like Jennings does.
It will be a duel of skills.
Perez has the amateur background, and if he is focused it may well make the difference.
Jennings is a very competent boxer though, so............
Maybe draw is a good pick.

    Neither are top 5 HW's.

I think it's a toss up fight. I really am torn on it and think it'll be close. A Majority or Split Decision outcome, I'll say Jennings.

Perez has a better chin and better overall skills.

He was beating Takam badly early in their fight, but I think he had flashbacks of Mago and quit throwing his hands.

Jennings boxes well off the backfoot, possibly better than Perez, a natural Cper.
Jennings does have that EQUALIZER, the R UC off the back foot.

If Jennings keeps the fight at range early, forcing Perez to come inside, Jennings could land that shot and change the fight.

COuld be a chess match til that UC lands.

OTOH, Perez can punch some, and Jennings doesnt have the most solid beard. So it could easily end in KO for Perez:think

Gonna really depend on who's got the better gameplan.:think

I hope that Perez can get back on game and doesn't suffer from the 'Chris Eubank-syndrome', who was never the same after the Watson drama.

I like the Perez, who fought Mago. He was lucky to get the draw vs Takam.
I like Jennings, ans he did very good in his last fight.

I think if Perez has his head together, that he will win, but also Jennings has a chance. It's a 50/50-match in my book.

Didn't Bryant Jennings exceed expectations when he KOed Szpilka and Perez fell short when he needed an alleged gift to get a W vs what's-his-name? I think Jennings wins UD or at least will deserve the W. BJ seems to want it more both inside and outside the ring.

u kno if it wasnt for the perez/takam fight i would pick perez no doubt.
but man the mago fight may have done sumthing to him and we will see bout that wen he fights jennings.

and jennings looking good in all his recent fight .. man i think this will be super close fight. and i realy think perez should be able to beat him but im still leaning towards jennings a little bit. perez has a ton of experience... and sum times when u have a fighter with lil amateur career like jennings n ur fightin another fight with a ton of AMS experience it could come into play.

I think it's a close competitive fight, but me thinks Perez might sneak by with a close split decision.
I also think Carlos Takam is just that good, rather than Perez not being as good as we thought.

Perez will beat a lot of heavyweights out there IMO. Conditioning will ultimately be the no. 1 factor with him.
At 225-230 he will be a real threat.
