You might be right but I dont understand why any British boxer wouldn't want to box for a British title.

Troy is mandatory so he is guaranteed a shot no matter wat. The point u make about going the international route means nothing bar possibly if jupp wins fair point. Look at eubank junior dropping back down and he was further up the ladder than ward ( also Hearn has mentioned British for ward in the past).

If Walsh was with Matchroom he would be ahead of Stephen Smith in the que for a World Title.

i totally agree mate, to be champion of britain and win it outright can sometimes be harder than winning a world title and imo that makes it a bit special :good

It won't be a match room fighter Walsh will only vacate if ****** has someone in mind. I think he will promote the vacant title and try and sign up the vacant fighters or whoever wins on a contract. I can only say as he usually ties up the belts. When Ronnie was meant to fight Liam part of his contract was to be if he wins 3 fights on box nation all with his purse and stipulations . Martin j ward is going another route for this reason.

I think Mike will get his shot. His style is suited to Skeete. They will love this idea a guy who comes forward and will make skeete look good. I think Mike will have a punchers chance but my thoughts are Skeete will win very easily. Welterweight at British level is relatively weak not many around that British Title.

As for Ronnie he was terrible against Mcrorry as Jamie has said he tried a different routene to make weight dropped more than usual day before and came in a lot heavier than normal.. He just got away with it. ****** will want to keep these titles in his promotion. Very clever man I seen the contracts for the Walsh fight and he was covering all angles. Dean Powell knew exactly what he was doing and from what I hear Andy Ayling is just as diligent. Troy v Ronnie would be a fantastic fight if the belt becomes vacant looking at the British Scene with the right fights both could push on and hold onto these titles

Hey mate, not be promoted by mgm Scotland lubi put the wrong badge on his shorts. He usually puts just mgm due to their support in the lead up to the fight. If anyone it would be over in Marbella but iv no idea what Ronnie is doing as does anyone. He's a free spirit to put it lightly. scottish promotors really just do the learning fights and Scottish fighters go on road for their chances regarding higher level fights. If they take a leaf out Paul Graham's book and make some genuine 50-50 fights it gives better chance of winning
