Exactly mate. The guys a ledgend and a load of creeps tried to drag him down out of jelousy, as they do to the majority of young celebs. He was the best heavy weight of all time in his day and has a seriously under rated resume. Spinks, Holmes, Golota, Smith, Berbick etc and people go on as though he never beat anybody. We all got robbed of his prime due to that sick bitches lies. Anyway I'm glad to see him doing well now. I think he doesn't need boxing in his life anymore. Too many people have ****ed him over in this business. I'll never forget the time I met him. It sticks out clearly, it was almost a sureal moment, no actually it was. What a respectful bloke. Mike reminds me of myself a lot personality wise.
I could of swore I've seen another interview with mike where he admits to the atlas story. He says something like "yeah I got fresh with her, or touched her butt or something but it was nothing serious". Maybe the TYSON movie or a Larry King interview. Anyone remember that?
I dont know for one moment it seem Tyson wish Teddy was there to tell him what hes teling the media for years to his face
I love listening to Tyson these days. A real honest guy. A very good interview that. I got nothing but respect for him.
Interviewer seems like a *****. Good to see Mike has finally found some solace in life and seems happier.
Most Tyson interviewers are like that, they're ****ing brutal to him as if he hasn't gone through enough already. Always trying to bait him... And Tyson appears to have found some peace but he's definitely out there with a lot of ****. But yeah compared to him in the 90's, early 00's yeah he's definitely less nuts
That's true and it's to be expected in a Tyson interview. But i think the longer it went on the better it was. Mike knows his gonna get asked the same ****, but he knows he'll be getting paid for it. I think the guy done a good job really. Mike is a real honest man these days. Good to see him in a better place.
This. I thought Mike was saying that Teddy had a grudge against him because Mike had replaced Teddy as the star in Cus's gym, then Mike turned down Teddy when Teddy wanted to leave Cus, so Teddy was all bitter and made some big deal about some incident with his niece, which Mike says wasn't really anything. It actually sounds a lot like what people are saying about why Atlas hates Pacquiao so much. Because Pac tuned him down. Though I'm not sure I believe that story.
