I'm for him leaving Arum. And Tyson had similar issues with Don King.

Don King was really dirty to hid fighters, he put in their contracts that they had to train at his training facilities and then charged the a huge premium for using it. The Tim Whitherspoon was the worse when he signed him to fight for 1 milliom dollars in South Africa but he only got the million if it was a first round KO, if it wasn't he recieved a dollar. Tim ended up own King money for training expenses after that fight.

Have to respect that opinion. As competitive as these guys are there has to be something inside them that wants to find out who really is the best.

He was blamed for keeping fighters inactive as well. He was noted to have steered Tyson toward the "good life" in order to keep control over him.

He also was known for the contract b.s. with if you fight my guy I want a piece of your career (if not all of it).

I had a thread on how Tyson lost his money. And although Tyson was overall at fault, Don King's hand in it was messed up.

As far as Tyson, Cayton kept Tyson active (on commands by D'Amato) which was a good thing. And the plan right after Spinks with a World Tour and ending it with Holyfield would have been great for All Boxing Fans. That ended when King got involved.

No kidding. Floyd is smarter than Tyson ever was and I'm sensing a bit of sour grapes here from Mike, a black man to another black man, to one who wasn't assraped by a promoter when it came to his earnings.

    Tyson speaks the truth.

However we all know that $50M for each fighter will not happen.
