Boxing is 90% mental when there isn’t a huge gap in talent or learning/experience.

Ali wins the mental battle with Tyson 100/100. Thus he wins the fight.

Tyson was insecure. Ali would sense that weakness, zero in on it and exploit it.

Mike Tyson was in his physical prime when he got beat up, chewed up and taken out by Buster Douglas. There is zero evidence he wasn’t still prime apart from the fact that he lost — his immediate results before and after Buster underscore this as fact.

 

Tyson Reggie Gross' Ali.

Mike got his shots in against even the fastest of his opponents, because Mike was even faster, especially with his feet. And the 1964 Ali wasn't the durable fellow he became 10 years later. Mike sparks him out cold with a lightning left hook.

I would go with Ali by late stoppage--simply too much speed. He would slice and dice Tyson just like Sonny Liston. (And 100% spot on for everyone who's cited the psychological factor--Ali would get into Tyson's head and have him off balance before the fight even started!)
