My old friend,Rakim Oaks beat Mike Tyson? At scrabble? Certainly not a fight.

 

Is there any reliable source for any of this? Who Rakim Oaks is or when he happened to have fought Mike?

Then you say Floyd is a midget and couldn't survive prison like Mike because Mike would tear his arms off, yeah I'm sure Mike would to Floyd, but we're talking about the general population there, and I would say Floyd, and I would still say Floyd would beat any average con there.

 

Take-downs? We don't know what Tyson was preoccupied with when someone (presumably a giant) jumped on him (if this ever happened). I'm staying away from this one.

 

lets just pretend the fights was set up and therefore 1 vs 1.

tyson was used to figthing the biggest, baddest and fastest big men on the planet. Fighting some slow ass in prison, who in all fairness would probably telegraph every move they´d make, compared to what tyson was used to, would leave tyson with every opportunity to counter. With that in mind, it seems highly unlikely that anyone would get close to grabbing tyson, without getting lit up by a combination.

I didn't read the whole thread but I'm calling it pure bs. If a drunk, retired Arturo Gatti, probably weighing around 165lbs, was able to knock some big bouncers out cold in a street fight (the night before he died in Brazil), a close to his prime Iron Mike would have killed guys in the bing.

 

if tyson got beat badly in prison there would have been at least rumours of it around that time. we wouldn't be hearing about it for the first time third hand from mustached mexican ex con and a skinhead 17 years later. i'm not saying there aren't a few capable huge monsters in prison that could get it done if they get it to the ground but it would be unlikely and as others have said anyone trying it would likey bring a weapon and in that case tyson would've been at least critically wounded (which again would've came out). also, its unlikely tyson was subjecting himself to fights for the hell of it and unlikely he would've been jumped (with his muslim brothers and the warden protecting his ass). also, he was at what was known as the "indiana youth center" so can we even confirm there were other adult hardened cons there (as opposed to juveniles and such)?
