No ones insecure here. It’s comical a few foreman fan boys thinks he’s capable of defeating top 10 prime ATG heavyweights when he was getting beat up by Tommy Morrison Axel Schulz and Alex Stewart

People are actually trying to use a coked up Bert Cooper as a reason foreman would beat him. And they claim Morrison could adapt but Tyson could not..despite Tyson having more talent in one finger than Morrison had in his whole body

Foreman did not fight anyone even close to the level of handspeed, punching power, and FINISHING ability of a prime mike Tyson

You are basing a lot of this on the assumption that Holyfield was a lot better than Tyson at this point, which is very arguable. Tyson had the speed and power, Holy didnt have both and Foreman would not be able to keep taking the punishment. He might push Tyson around and come forward but he would be getting hit in the process. a lot of people also seem to believe Tyson was incapable of side stepping and had no lateral movement when his movement is underrated imo. Holyfield had the will but I dont think Tyson would need it, he would be the threat when he opens up. Foreman wasn't exactly elusive either, he took plenty of shots to the head during his late career, its not beyond the realms of possibility that Tyson could land these punches when lesser fighters had...

yet old George seems to be kryptonite to Tyson because of some old story floating around saying he was terrified of George because Cus told him one he would bounce him around the ring.

Styles make fights..yes except in a case where one fighter is on a much higher level than the other fighter. Foreman of 90s was no longer a great fighter..he was barely a step above B level. He could knockout tomato cans, but he struggled to outpoint fringe contenders over 12 rounds. Some low level contenders like Schulz and Morrison, easily defeated him. Tyson in 88...was in the prime of his life. Maybe the best all around puncher and finisher the division has ever seen. He cleaned out the entire divisions A team easily...while foreman could barely scrape by the B level guys.

Stewart and Morrison had to turn into boxers because they are both so limited what they can do. Both posssessed nowhere near the lightning like handspeed, the two fisted power, the technique, the skill, the athleticism, and the finish ability to seriously hurt, floor, and finish off foreman...which Tyson did.

Tyson possessed great stamina in his prime..he outworked a really good big man Tony Tucker to beat him on points..didn’t foreman get stripped of is title for ducking tucker? If Tyson can’t finish him off..he will outwork him bust up his face and win by unanimous decision.

Tyson posssessd accuracy like a sniper. With elite speed. Foreman was slow had no defense. You’re going to tell me he could take 4 or 5 Tyson combinations? Need a lot more than just Character to beat a prime mike Tyson.

Not sure what you are implying with the bottom post..but it seems foreman has quite a few irrational worshippers.

Again styles doesn’t matter if one fighter is in a different class than another.

Tyson in 1988 was a top 5-10 heavyweight of all time. Foreman in 1988 was in his second year of a 10 year layoff..age 39 without one win over a top 10 contender. When he stepped up in competition in 90-94..he often lost, got out pointed, got his face mashed up by fringe contenders. He was on a level far below Tyson

Ever think Morrison beating foreman exposed foreman’s limitations as a fighter, rather than made Morrison look great? After all, Morrison never defeated any top 10 contender his whole career at the time of the fight besides foreman. Razor ruddock was far past his prime in 1995 when he fought Morrison

Seek and destroy....what top 10 ATG heavyweight whom posssessed the two fisted power, handspeed, and finishing ability of a Tyson did foreman fight in 1988-95?

He fought guys who hit hard with one punch...but none who knew how to throw combinations and finish a fighter like Tyson .

Foreman wasn’t some immovable object. Lyle went toe to toe and almost defeated him...Tyson was far greater finisher than Lyle.

Holyfield landed a 12 punch combination of foreman standing toe to toe...imagine if that were Tyson instead?

Again..Foreman never fought anyone who could punch and finish like Tyson...so his chin and recuperative powers in the 90s was untested by this caliber of a fighter.

Most people would have thought Holmes chin was unbreakablr based on the shots he took from cooney shavers McCall etc....but Tyson left him unconscious on the canvas.

That fight right there...is what Tyson is capable of doing to a 40 year old man

No,i am basing it on the fact evander and tyson had completely different styles and the evander's was much more effective to face foreman.you are assuming that if evander landed x number of shots tyson would do it too.
And yes i do think that 91 holyfield beats any tyson

Tyson won’t “fall apart” because foreman won’t be hitting him back. Foreman’s slow loopy telegraphed punches would be avoided not only by Tyson’s great head movement but by Tyson’s far superior handspeed and offense getting to foreman first..

If you think foreman can land one bomb on him like he did to glass jaw moorer..you’re dead wrong. Tyson took thunderous uppercuts from massive punchers ruddock Bruno and bonecrusher without going down...you need accumulative combination punching ability like Douglas or Holyfield to knock out Tyson...which old man foreman did not have

Tyson could go 12 rounds and outpoint foreman in a wide decision. He doesn’t need to knock him out...hit foreman with a combination...bob and weave.. same thing clinch in close...foreman Won’t even be able to see Tyson’s combinations coming

It’s amazing that cus’s tale of a prime 1973 foreman beating Tyson turns into cus believing a 45 year old foreman beats Tyson...which then gets taken in by fans as some sort of gospel

Very hard to say because both men were elite punchers & both could take a good shot. Foreman was slower & more open to being hit but had the reach & size so with this kind of freakish power & aggressive styles hard to see the fight going into the 5th round

I think who dictated punching range & the will to win would be the victor but there is no way this would develope into a tactiful fight becaue one punch could change the whole fight.

Love to see these guys fight

Prime Foreman stops both Dempsey and Marciano early.

As for older foreman..while he would be dangerous fights for both due to massive weight differences..I think it would be nullified by the youthness on Marcianos and Dempsey’s side.

Marciano made a living out of beating on older men..he had a great style to beat older men with his huge work rate and volume punching..he also had the power to hurt foreman. I think rocky outpoints him in the trenches. But maybe gets sent to canvas once with a big uppercut

Dempsey showed against old Willard the type of damage he was capable of doing to a big older man. While Willard was a lot worse than foreman, Dempsey would still have a huge speed advantage. I think he would tag and retreat and hurt foreman constantly with big left hooks, he’d suffer less damage than Marciano...but he wouldn’t score as often as Marciano.

Take note I don’t pick Marciano or Dempsey to defeat any of the young skilled superheavwyeights bowe Lewis fury Klitschko Joshua wilder. Not even close
