In 2000 Tyson was well past his best and the only of common opponant is Lewis where Tyson was even more faded.

Orlin Norris also. There is only 5 years in age between them, they are of the same fight generation in truth, Vitali is just amazing for still being the man at 41.

A fight with prime Tyson would most likely go to points due to Vitali's height and iron chin, and Mike's amazing defence and similarly iron chin.

The winner is hard to call but I'd lean towards Mike in a close decision.

Tyson's way too fast for the big guy. He'd get inside the reach enough to knock him spark out with his lightening combo's.

    Speed. Edge Tyson
    Power Edge Tyson
    Defense Edge Tyson
    CHin, equal.

I think Tyson would have trouble ko'ing him because he would have to punch up the whole night, but he would put Vitali in a shell. The first 3-4 rounds would be good, then it would be tyson landing a one tow while making Vitali miss and then a clench.

Tyson 117-111, maybe 110 if he could get a knockdown early.

I respectfully disagree. I think we both agree Prime Tyson was better than Corrie Sanders. Mr.Sanders rocked Vitali and had him running. Just a fact. Now Mike Tyson was faster and a more ferocious and accurate puncher. I think it is fair to say Mike Tyson would drop Vitali Iron Fist.

Tyson never had trouble because a guy was taller. Never. No one ever beat Tyson because they were taller. Boxing doesn't work like that and never has.

And Tyson dropped many guys with body shots. He doesn't have to hit the chin to KO a guy.

Below is 2 videos of Tyson beating Sammy Scaff and Eddie Richardson who were both 6'6 compared to Tyson's 5'10"

This is how Mike did against tall fighters.

Tyson would have eaten Vitali's children.

Then he would have made him his girlfriend.

He would have F###ked him until he loved him.

    God, I miss those days!

Tyson, great that he was, is too short. Vitalis defence consists of height, long jab and generally an unorthodox way of leaning back to avoid punches. For a shorter guy, it makes him harder to land, though obviously not impossible. Vitali Ko a frustrated Tyson.

Those tall guys didn't use their height to their advantage, whereas the klits do, and do it very, very well.

I am constantly befuddled by those who think Vitali cannot be KO'ed. I am a Vitali fan and he undoubtedly he has a very good chin the uppercut he took from Lewis was monstrous.

But in terms of chin he's not a McCall type fighter who has never even shown signs of being hurt. He was hurt twice by Lewis, he was hurt by Sanders. He will never be stopped by one punch but he can be hurt and worn down over the course of a fight. The Lewis fight showed how he was slowly being worn down, the right that hurt him late in the 6th was nothing compared to the earlier uppercut but had him more hurt.

Tyson is one of the greatest punchers ever, whether you think he could win or not he has the power and delivery of punch to put Vitali away should the opportunity present itself.
