Styles make fights. Tyson is 8 inches shorter than Vitali. If Tyson can't get to Vitali's body all that well, then what is he going to do? Land a Shoryuken? Tyson has been knocked out by guys that don't have as good of a jab as Vitali, don't hit nearly as hard, and are much shorter.

Exactly, due to Vitalis poor footwork and lack of upper body movement, Tyson would have no problem finding Vitalis ribs. Body first then head.

Vitali being taller doesnt mean ****, you need to get this inside your head.

Why did David Tua go 12 with Lewis, yet Vitali get his face torn in 6? Surely Vitali would have done better, because hes oh so bigger?

Evander Holyfield did much better against Lewis than Vitali, Holyfield...a former CW. And he fought Lewis for 24 rounds, thats 3 times as much as Vitali.

    Holyfield is better than Vitali

Lennox Lewis is better than Vitali

Douglas had a much better skillset than Vitali.

Douglas also did in one night, what Vitali hasnt been able to do his whole career. He beat an ATG AND won the undisputed championship.

Vitalis claim to fame is, that he was winning against Lewis until he was stopped, thats basically the same story as Frank Bruno, who also hits harder than Vitali

Vitali lasted 6 rounds with Lewis, thats the same as Tommy 'Glass Jaw' Morrison and Lennox was older when he fought Vitali as well.

Vitali doesn't knockout with single punches.
He is a volume puncher, he doesn't need the punching power for that.
Vitali fought Sanders to add that.

Also turning southpaw is not being a natural southpower.

You accused Tyson of dodging southpaws, which is a load of crap, when the only relevant southpaw during Tysons time was Moorer

Also the argument still stands, you need a good right to beat Southpaws, Tyson had one of the most dangerous overhand rights

The Tua fight shouldn't be mentioned by anyone. Not Tua or Lewis fans. They should have paid Tua with Samoan rocks. Klitscho lost to Lewis tko 6, but was ahead on the cards. Was Morrison ahead? Was he stopped by a cut? Douglas had a very high skill set, but he didn't have Vitali's height nor power, and he was a lazy piece of **** that just so happen to beat the breaks off of Tyson. No one has even come close to doing that to Vitali. Holyfield would have struggled big time against Vitali. Holyfield did not do better against Lewis. Lewis was robbed the first time.

Morrison was fighting a younger, much better version of Lewis than Vitali did.

Like i said before, height doesnt mean ****, what happened against featherfirsted Chris Byrd? Vitali quit.

Tua went 12, despite being a midget and didnt have a scratch on his face.

Holyfield beat Bowe, Holmes, Foreman and gave 2 much better performances against Lewis. Your delusional if you think Vitali has an easy time with Holyfield. Vitali NEVER had an easy time with any of the half decent fighters he fought, Byrd, Lewis, Chisora. Lewis was robbed, but Holyfield still did much better than Vitali.

Douglas was lazy, but on one night, he displayed a much better skillset than Vitali has his whole life.

Vitali wouldnt be intimidated, but he did **** his pants when Chisora slapped him straight in the face in front of the whole world.

Tyson didnt 'struggle' with any tall rangy fighters. Tucker and Smith most likely won a combined 2 rounds from Tyson. I hardly call that a struggle. Both were just happy they had seen the final bell.

The only time Tyson 'struggled' was when he was still green and was put in with the experienced Quick Tillis.

Tyson struggled with tall fighters, thus the height means something. On that one night Douglas showed the world that Tyson was beatable if you aren't intimidated by him. Holyfield surely didn't do better than Vitali against Lewis. Vitali was ahead on the cards, and that fight is what put him back on the map after the Byrd fight ( another fight he was ahead on the cards with).

Tyson didnt struggle with tall fighters, Smith and Tucker very quickly realised what they were in for, so they went into survival mode and decided it would be easier to hug and go the distance, than get Knocked out. And like i said before, they both won about a total of 2 rounds, thats hardly a struggle.

An old Holyfield fought a prime Lewis twice and didnt have his face looking like a pizza.

It doesnt matter if your ahead on the cards, if you get KOd, Tkod or stopped, its a loss.

Beating Tyson had nothing to do with 'not being intimidated' Douglas put ona boxing masterclass utilising a skillset Vitali can only fantasise about.

I voted Vitali by ko as there wasn't an stoppage option. Prime Vitali's hieght, range, good reflexes, and chin would get him through the early rounds. After he starts landing the left Tyson would slow enough for Vitali to break him down. ref stoppage
