Mikkel Kessler vs. Nathan Cleverly

This leads me further to believe that Clev gets knocked out in this fight.

 

Im a big Kessler fan but i believe Cleverly's activity and size makes him an ever so slight favourite in my eyes. Dont get me wrong Kessler has a fair chance to time Cleverly on a regular basis im just not sure how much he's got left.

 

Kessler has a superb jab and he'd just use it to pummel nathan all night long. I'd guess cleverly has a fair enough chin?? Took a few shots against bellew fairly comfortably. Kessler would win easy on points or the ref would stop it. Cleverly is no where near ready for a class operator like kessler. Think kessler is stayin at super middle for the time being is he? Last night was just seen as a tune up at 12st 4

This except I think he'll definitely wear him down. Like I said in the other thread apart from two left hooks he didnt look great last night. Kesslers wear and tear coupled with Clevs size and workrate would be his undoing. Around the 5th I'd imagine Clev would take over and being to break him down especially with body punching. That'd slow kessler down and win the fight for Clev possibly on cut or british stoppage in 10-12 more like 7-5 type UD or 118-110 if in some british leisure centre

 

I think up until now Cleverly has never really been an underdog or faced an opponent expected to beat him.
Clev offten fights as if he has no respect for his opponent however he would have to respect Kessler and I think Cleverly would fight clever for the first time in his carrer.

 

Like most of the fans I doubt Cleverly really gets up for some of the fights hes had recently. He looked decent against Bellew because he was a threat

 

bellew should had gotten the decision over cleverly.

but yeah kessler would beat cleverly definetly.

but I think someone like emanuel stewart would know what to do with cleverly if he trained him.

 

Tough one to call. Clev would win rounds on workrate, all about if he can take Kessler's punches.
