my personal opinion about watching a fight live then rescoring afrter someone is SUPPOSEDLY robbed. exac vs bradley. when i was watching this fight live on ppv i had pacman CLEARING winning the fight about 9-4 or something to that effect and was shocked by the decision. afterwards i rewatched the fight and found it was closer then i thought but still had pac winning 7-5 8-4. But as i was watching the fight for the 2-3-4 time. i kept TRYING to give bradley more rounds to justify the decision. when it was a close round i kept giving rounds to bradley without me even knowing . as a result of this thinking, i had the fight a draw. i think we all to some degree get manipulated into scoring this way after a fight that is controversial. my point is. USUALLY i think the first time you score a fight, we are GENERALLY right. opinions please
I don't score fights the first time I watch em live. I just wanna enjoy the action, and sumtimes I'm drinkin while watchin it. When I go back and score, I almost never come up with a card that differs from what I took in just watchin it without scorin. The only time it'll be different is in all out brawls where it's just big punches from both guys gettin landed over n over. I mighta felt 1 guy had control more than the other but it'll level out or maybe be the other way around. In the case of Pac-Bradley, no rewatch was even necessary. Kill that weakass **** about HBO bein biased. Wouldn't matter if you watched it muted, with Tim's mama doin the commentary, Russian commentary, or you were trippin on shrooms. Tim tried, but got ****in beat, period.
I scored Pac Bradley 7-5 for Pac watching it live I always stick with the score i get watching live, feel it's the most accurate.
wrong, i always say the second time first time your watchin as a fan second time you can watch as a judge if Pac wobbled Bradley your not gonna be thinkin about scorin the round your gonna be thinkin is Pac gonna ko him or not hard to score properly watchin as a fan
The problem with Pacquiao vs Bradley(and a lot of robbery fights in general imo) is that usually if one guy is getting his ass kicked(in this case Bradley) but improves dramatically at some point to make things quasi-competitive, scoring the fight you tend to want to reward that fighter with rounds when he probably didn't actually win them, he just did better than before. After getting dominated and beat up in the first half of the fight, Bradley outhustled a coasting Pacquiao in the 2nd half of the fight and gave a credible effort, but it's hard to give Bradley rounds objectively when one punch from Pacquiao is very obviously more effective than ten from Bradley in that situation.
i see what you mean, ireminds me of when people tried to give Margarito a round near the end of Cotto vs Margarito II because he made it a tiny bit more competitive but he still lost the round just wasnt as bad as the beatdowns in the other rounds
