:good Yeah, this one looks like it could produce a highlight reel worthy ending of a big guy getting starched! I'm more of a Carwin fan, but I would have to favour Mir. It is a great match-up!

It's a very good fight. If Mir beats Carwin, it builds interest in a Mir-Lesnar trilogy. If Carwin wins then it hypes up a big man fight between him and Brock.

Carwin is stiff on the feet. Mir's Boxing skills just continue to improve.

If Carwin takes Mir down, I don't think that benefits Carwin.

Mir can win this fight several different ways. All Carwin has is a punchers chance.

Carwin could, not saying he will but could control Mir on the ground and he does have very heavy hands. So I think taking Mir down does benifit Carwin

I would expect Mir to beat Carwin up on the feet and either submit him or TKO him on the ground after a KD. But if Carwin could take Mir down against the cage and land some bombs, Mirs gaurd tends to not be just as dangerous.

Still I think Mir wins 7 times out of 10 or so.

Very good point you made. I could see that happening.

However lets say if Mir gets taken down right away (which can possibly happen, Carwin is a good wrestler), while he's fresh, you know how that fight may potentially end up. Quick subs are like quick KO's for Mir. Franks IQ on fighting is extremely high, and he trains for his opponents strengths.

He knows how to train for a striker and he knows how to train for a Wrestler/GNP'er. I think Mir can beat Carwin the same way he beats everyone else. Not necessarily with a Sub or a Punch, but with his smarts. Mir outsmarts guys. But I guess we'll see. Anything can happen in a fight.

Nice fight! ZUFFA did well to salvage a workable senario with the current Lwsnar situation. I think I smell Lesnar/Mir III
