Kelly is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't here. AA will still have the belt, win or lose. AA MAY become a Strum like recluse if he loses though. If Miranda KO's AA in the first round and AA is still willing to fight, people will deride Kelly if he fights him saying he is just another Lockett. If he doesn't, he is welching on his unification 'desire'.
yeah im the same i want abraham to win only cause i want him to get beat by pavlik but ur rt if abraham loses whos left at 160 felix sturm john duddy he might as well move on up to 168 or light heavy chase calzgay out of boxing
I like the styles of both men. However, I believe Pantera to be great for the sport of boxing. He's a talented trash talker, a huge puncher, and someone with such heart. Adding a revitalized version of himself to the 168 pound division opens up so many great fights--who doesn't want to see him finally get that fight with Jermain Taylor? On the other hand, a dominant performance by Abraham gives Kelly a truly meaningful fight at 160 and that's nothing to sneeze at. Overall, I go with Pantera just because I like him so much.
I'm cheering for Miranda, but I have some money on Abraham, so it's a strange situation. I'm not a huge Miranda fan or anything though so I won't feel too guilty if Abraham wins.
that was my first impression too. i know kessler on a very casual relationship (meaning we chat when we meet but know each other), but the truth is mogens palle wants a belt to line up kessler's future and, if kelly pavlik does want to fight him after saturday night (assuming mikkel wins), then i don'øt think anyone would begrudge him that. fighters will fight whoever is put infront of them, sometimes the decision of the promoter isn't always in the fighter's interest but kessler - pavlik is a big fight for mikkel...if it happens of course.
Abraham...Miranda is a jerk with his loud mouth antics, a loud mouth claiming everyone ducks him, and a cheater with his low blows and spitting out his mouth piece. pavlik exposed him for the classless jerk he is...and that is a devastating loss to come back from.
