Some of you just dont get it.
Who cares where the judges were from?!?
It has no bearing. There are corrupt people who can be bought all over the world. The difference is, in America, the promoters dont pay off the refs and judges. We have santioning bodies that watch over everything and THEY elect the judges and refs. Or the santioning bodies select them. But in the case, Wilfred Saulerland gets who he wants. He doesnt have a santion body that looks over him (he is his own sanctioning body) and the IBF has been known to take large donations from Wilfred.

Neuman is an AMERICAN paid for by the GERMANS corrupt *******!

Regardless of what conspiracy theory you believe Abraham won the fight even if there were only 3 points deducted and not 5. The headbutt was clearly intentional and so was 1 of the low blows. The other 2 low blows were very questionable.

And I do believe an argument could be made that the fight could have been stopped any time after the 5th round. You have to give credit to Abraham for keeping to fight many other would have quit on their stool.

Scoring the fight I do not see how Miranda won the fight I had it 7-5 Abraham and that is without the point deductions.

I can't wait to watch the rematch this weekend.

Actually two of the judges were Americans.

To be fair you just sound angry.

Actually Pantera that is a completely false statement. In the United States the promoter shoulders the cost of the fight, which means that the promoter is responsible for paying for the ref, ringside physician, and the judges, as well as the other state officials present.

All bouts sanctioned by any sanctioning body are overseen by said body, hence the presence of IBF officials at the fight.

Now, as far as the "corrupt officials" there. The person who "called" the fight did not actually have the authority to do so. The only person ringside who had the authority to do so was the woman in the black jacket, she was the official ringside physician for the Austrian athletic control board (whatever it is called) that oversees the fights. For the record that is a governmental agency on the national level that is part of the Austrian government.

The rematch is a tough because you can never rule out a puncher like Miranda, but i won't sit on the fence ill say Abraham is going to win it.

IMO AA won the fight even without the stupid low blow calls, but only just.

Pantera, which rounds did you see Miranda winning excluding the low blows, but including the headbutt, and what was your final score?

Fights where officiating like that occurs is one of the problems that plague the sport today and is one of the reason that the sport is in the state it is in.

LOL! What were you watching? Abrahm has decent skills and is a solid fighter but he doesn't do enough. Miranda was robbed.....well...5 POINTS!! OMG:patsch He was hitting low but I've never seen 5 points taken from one fighter....ONLY IN GERMANY!!! Miranda won.

Get a grip man....what the **** did you watch? There is no easy way to come up with the same bogus score that the German judges came up with. It was clearly a Hometown decision. Miranda easily won this fight....it may have been a bit more competitive if he didn't get his Jaw wrecked but it's part of the game.

He did win those handilly. You can't fight in spurts. Abe just tried to steal rounds with occasional combos but the rest of the round belonged to Miranda.

You must be ******ed to think it was the headbutt that broke it. You can see him with his mouth wide open and obviously dislocated before that.

What I mean is someone should have pulled him out of the fight. He was bleeding profusely and feelings immense pain, along with a damaged jaw. He could have been seriously, seriously hurt.

Great fight. I like both fighters and I felt bad for Abraham, while they were tallying up the score AA was just standing there with his mouth leaking blood unable to close his mouth.

Miranda was a relentless beast. I can't wait for the rematch.

Pantera 2000 - any word on how Miranda is doing with his weight?

Why? Pantera 2000 is absolutely right, Newman is corrupt and was paid by Sauerland.

I finally seen the fight last night. I BELIEVE MIRANDA WON AND Newman was corrupt. But I give Abraham credit for heart. Also that jaw being broken happen from a punch
