His diet while in training was pretty damn good and had to be to shift around 40lbs every training camp
Being as explosive as possible certainly is very useful. Quite a few boxers have come a good way with explosiveness as one of their main commodities. Football is a good example of a multidimensional sport where modern nutrition and training methods have in large parts changed the face of the sport. But in the end, I think moderation and discipline is the most important aspect when it comes to nutrition and training. Cut out drugs, booze, tobacco, junk food etc and you're half-way there.
Don't boxers do sprints now? I guess it has nothing to do with explosive power, lactic threshold, heatrate max and all that.
Why Lass, he travelled America in a rail car knocking out Hobos for God sake!! I have a prime Francois Botha knocking out Sullivan in 3. Wanker.
Dempsey would ****ing rock the Klitschkos. Wlad especially would be burned and died. Sprints aren't new to this sport. Haislet's 1920's manual and Fitzsimmons training manual both describe wind sprint routines, IIRC.
I agree. I have spent hours going over tapes of Dempsey fights. Did you see how the 5'9" Dempsey uses the double jab and outside slip to get inside? Yeah, that's what he would do to Wlad. Totally. I have seen him do it numerous times.
Klitschko's can't infight+none of their fat opponents are fast and have good head movement+they don't have the lateral movement or handspeed to deter him=he gets inside and rains partytime on their face. This content is protected America KO1 Ukraine. Hail.
Dempsey had handspeed??????? Huh? 5'9" Dempsey beating Wlad. Hmmm. This ain't the 1870s lass. Dempsey was impressive beating up homeless guys during the depression with 6 oz gloves. Wlad would beat the man to a pulp.
Oh, and Dempsey still couldnt beat Wlad. He can even have his railspike that he normally leads his gloves with.
